As you start the game you are given 3 choices.
Clicking on Introduction will give you the story.
Clicking on Incarnation will let you select 1 of 4 characters to start a new game.
Clicking on Continuation will allow you to load a previously saved game.

Incarnation

You select 1 of 4 characters, each with different abilities. You can click on the same character many times to get different stats.

After accepting a character you will see the following interface.
With the left mouse button you can interact with the interface, as well as the objects in the little window that shows the game.
Right clicking will change between "Hand Mode" and "Navigation Mode".
In "Navigation Mode" you're limited to the little window and left clicking performs an attack.
You can cast spells by pressing the Space Bar.

Hover over the interface for details.

Face Portrait

The face portrait can read scrolls, eat food and drink potions. With the hand you pick up an object by left clicking on it, then left click on the face portrait.

Left clicking on the little arrow at the bottom right of the portrait will flip it around for you to equip items for use.

Hover over a square for details.

Inventory Space

With the hand you can pick up objects and store them here. All objects take only one space, but they weigh differently. Backpacks and bags add 8 more inventory spaces, but can only be used in the top 4 spaces.

Left clicking on the fist icon will bring up your character's stats.

STR: This is your strength. Strength is used for determining how much weight the character can carry. Also, strength can increase or decrease the amount of damage you inflict and the chance of hitting your opponent.

INT: This is your intelligence. Intelligence is used for determining how well you pronounce a spell. If you pronounce it correctly it will be cast. If not, it fails.

WIS: This is your wisdom. Wisdom reflects your mystical context. If your wisdom is high, you are more adept at casting spells and thus will have more mana to cast spells from.

DEX: This is your dexterity. Dexternity determines how fast and flexible you are. With a high dexterity you will naturally weave in and out of your opponents attacks.

CON: This is your constitution. Constitution shows how healthy and physically fit you are. Any healthy warrior or mage in battle, is apt to live longer.

FOOD: Your character can go hungry over time. You'll have to replenish it by eating. Should your food become too low, it will have an adverse effect on your movement.

STAM: This is your stamina. Stamina will go down the more you run. You can replenish this by sleeping. Should your stamina become too low, it will have an adverse effect on your movement.

HIT: This is your health. You can replenish this by sleeping.

MANA: This mana allows you to cast spells. Spells cost mana and they can have different costs. The first spell you encounter costs around 2 points while later spells cost more. You can replenish this by sleeping.

WGHT: This is how much weight you are carrying and how much you can carry at the most.

Damage: This is the amount of damage you make on every successful hit. It can increase depending on what weapons you equip. A small m at the end of the numbers indicates it does special or magical damage.

Attack: This determines how well you can hit.

Defense: This determines how hard it is for opponents to hit you.

Save: This determines your resistance to magic.

These stats will increase with the help of various equipped items as well as leveling up your character.
