Edward's Tour Across Europe with TPR 2010

Hello. This is the story of my 11 day trip across Europe. I started off on the 26th of June with a train trip down to Copenhagen, then from there a night train to Cologne, Germany.
Yes, due to being late with my bookings I didn't get a straight train. From Cologne I got a train into Paris and there I walked around a bit looking at some of the different marvels, like the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais, the Zen cannal, and some other squares of which I forget the name of.
Then I got another night train down to Milan and met up with the group on the 28th of June.

Once I met up with the group it was a nice bus ride to a hotel, and then a walk to a park called Gardaland. First thing we rode was a boat that goes down a slide into water because we needed to cool off. However, there wasn't enough splash for that.
Then we rode a few rollercoasters, went through a fun house, a flume ride, and then a bus back to the hotel.

Next day, 29th of June, we were to get to the bus to get to a park called Mirabilandia. There we got Exclusive Ride Time on a rollercoaster called Katun. Exclusive Ride Time means getting to ride a coaster before the general public. VIP treatment or something like that. And get to ride over and over again for the duration of the Exclusive Ride Time.
After that everyone went their seperate ways and rode other things.

Another day, another park. On the 30th of June we were at Movieland Studios. The description of which is that it is like Universal Studios, except there are barely any rules. First thing we got to ride was Police Academy Driving Simulator which was ridiculously hillarious.
There were other strange rides in the park, but didn't get much time for riding. At 3pm we had to catch the bus again to take the long drive out of Italy, across Switzerland, and into Germany.

On the 1st of July we were at Europa Park, a multi national park where they had alot of European Countries like Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Italy, France, Greace, Switzerland, Russia, Colosseos, Mexicans... Oh the Culture Confusions!
Again it was time for Exclusive Ride Time on three rollercoasters. One was called Blue Fire, another was an indoor coaster called Euro Sat, and the third was called Silver Star (a 67m drop). Then off to other adventures like Euro Mir (some kind of theming after the space station), Bobsledding, getting soaked, and other mad whiplashes.

On the 2nd of July we went for a little German Culture. We went to a fair in Würzburg where they had the largest portable rollercoaster with 5 loops representing the Olympic Rings.
With that came pints of beer, food, and entertainment in a beer tent. However I didn't touch a drop nor did I participate in the sport Pole Climbing.

We then got to Phantasialand in Germany on the 3rd of July. Our Exclusive Ride Time consisted of 2 spinning coasters (rollercoasters that freely spin around), and Black Mamba. Again this place was a culture clash. There ware medival castles, Chinese buildings, Mexican villages, Africa, Inca temples, Western salloons, and other unamable things.
The 2 spinning coasters have the same name called Winja's Fear & Force. two seperate tracks, supposedly one is mostly fear and the other is mostly force, but my second time around I had no idea which was which.
There was also this River Rapids ride that was absolutely wild! One went up in elevators, that then threw you out into a funnel, then one got "flushed" down a spiral like slide, and one got soaked. Great fun!

4th of July. A lovely day to... Not shoot fireworks? Instead I spend it at some beautiful theme park that I've never been to before. How could I? ... Just kidding.
On this day I was at Efteling, in the Netherlands. This park is just beautiful. The atmosphere, the theming, the music... Just lovely! The Exlusive Ride Time was on Vliegende Hollander (the Flying Dutchman), a rollercoaster that splashes down into water, and the newly finished Joris en de Draak (George and the Dragon), 2 wooden coasters that race each other. It was so new that the theming wasen't ready yet, but it was a fun pair of coasters none the less.

Ah, much fun. Then it was time for the farewell dinner. There was one more hotel we stayed at which was near the Amsterdam Airport. Next morning, on the 5th of July, I took the shuttle to the Airport where one could get a train into Amsterdam city. There I walked around for a whole day because my night train back to Copenhagen didn't depart until 7pm. My poor feet.
Anyways, after enjoying the bits and pieces of Grandfather Gaston's roots (Isabel's Father) I caught the train and made it home safe and sound.
